Privacy Policy — Letterbeat

Last updated 26 September 2026

Letterbeat is a motion-graphics video maker published by Axpenproj. There are no accounts and no sign-in, the app has no internet access at all, and your projects, photos and videos stay on your device.

The short version

There are no accounts and no sign-in. Everything you make stays on your device and is never uploaded. There is no server, no analytics, no crash reporting, no ads and nothing to buy. The app does not have Android’s internet permission, so it cannot send anything anywhere even by accident.

Photos and videos you add

You add photos and videos through Android’s photo picker, which hands Letterbeat only the items you choose. The app cannot see the rest of your gallery and does not ask for storage access.

A copy of each photo (reduced to at most 1920 pixels) and of each video is kept in the app’s private storage so your projects still open later. For a video, Letterbeat also keeps Android’s permission to read the original file you picked, so that exports can use it at full quality. That permission covers only the files you picked, and it ends when you uninstall the app.

What is stored on your device

Your projects: the templates, text, fonts, colours, backgrounds and timing you chose, plus the copies of your photos and videos described above. Also the export resolution you last used and a measure of how fast this device exports, which the app uses to estimate render times. All of it is kept in the app’s private storage, never leaves the device, and is deleted when you uninstall the app.

Videos you export

Finished videos are saved to the Movies/Letterbeat folder on your device, where your gallery and other apps with media access can see them, like any video you record. They are yours: uninstalling Letterbeat does not delete them. Remove them from your gallery or file manager when you no longer want them.

When you tap Share, Android’s share sheet sends the video to the app you pick. Letterbeat is not involved after that, and the receiving app’s own privacy policy applies.

What leaves your device

Nothing, unless you share a video yourself. This build collects no identifiers, contains no advertising or analytics code, and has no network access. Axpenproj receives nothing at all, which also means Axpenproj has no idea who you are or what you make.

Permissions

Letterbeat requests no Android permissions. It does not access your camera, microphone, location, contacts or storage, and it does not read your advertising ID.

Children

Letterbeat is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from anybody, of any age. It has no chat, no accounts and no way to contact other people.

Deleting your data

Because nothing is collected by Axpenproj, there is nothing held anywhere to delete. To remove what is stored on your device, delete projects in the app, or uninstall it or clear its data in your device settings. Clearing data erases your projects permanently, and there is no copy of them to restore from. Exported videos are deleted separately, from your gallery.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date above changes with it, and a materially different version will also be reflected in the app’s store listing. The version you are reading is the one shipped with the build you are using.
